Watching it live at the Big Dome, wearing maroon, would have made me happier! You know, the adrenaline, energy and excitement there always elevate to the highest level. School spirit raging! But heck, I have not been that lucky to find even a single ticket. Sold out, they all said. So I have to content myself by tuning in to the dumb box. Haha!
After UST’s performance, UP was next and as the live telecast went into a commercial break, I quickly uttered a silent prayer for the squad. Keeping my fingers on both hands crossed, I watched the routine with nervous anticipation, wishing for perfect and flawless execution. I was not disappointed. Woohoo! Tribal!
When the replay of the first part of each cheering team’s routine was shown, I became more convinced that this year’s title would be UP’s. Feeling. That gut feel was cemented when it was announced that the Special Award (Samsung Stunner) goes to France Fleta of UP. Ha! We have it in the bag! Wahaha!
Kudos to UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe for being First Runner Up and FEU Pep Squad!
